The Reason For The Rhyme
The reason I picked Lead-Teach-Love as the title for this blog is because it can have so many different meanings. It can also mean so many other things to different people.
Lead, teach, love has sort of been my motto for a while. I think it describes me or at least the person who I want to become. I know that I want to be the kind of person who is able to lead, to be the one that people can count on. I also want to be a teacher. Not a school teacher exactly but I want be the type of person that people can learn from. In the same way I want to be someone who never stops wanting to learn and can always be taught something new.
Now the last part, love. In the world today love has gained quite a reputation. I am striving to be someone who is always acting out of love in a good way. Most of the time though I don't do a very good job but I try. What I mean by love is being patient, kind, sincere, and genuinely caring about the other person (or people). Not some mushy feeling that is taken advantage of every February; or something that any one can say and expect it to mean nothing. It is so rare in the world today to meet someone who will say they love you and are willing to keep the commitments that comes with it. Even rarer is the person who can go their whole life and never say "I love you" but you absolutely know that they do by their actions.
